Chittagong College Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal protested the killings in the July movement and against extortion after the revolution on Thursday.

A procession started in front of Chittagong College was led by the Member Secretary of Chittagong College Chhatra Dal, Omar Farooq Sagar, the shot dead student leader of July movement.

The protest march started from Chittagong College area and ended at Chowkbazar intersection.

In the speech of the chief guest at the protest rally at Chowkbazar intersection on Thursday afternoon, student leader Omar Farooq Sagar said, "The dictatorship of Sheikh Hasina has fallen through the blood of the students." Chittagong College Chhatra Dal leader Wasim Akram died at the hands of Chhatra League-Jubo League terrorists in Chittagong's Muradpur.

The killer terrorists have not been arrested yet. Those involved in indiscriminate student and mass killings in the July revolution should be found and brought under the law. '

He also said that the people of the country are united in demanding justice for genocide. We have a responsibility to those students who gave their lives fighting against Awami discrimination. The country will not be free of stigma if the killing of students is not prosecuted. Chhatra Dal leader Wasim Akram was the first martyr of the Chhatra Janata movement. Our Chittagong is stained with the blood of martyrs including martyr Wasim Akram, Tanveer and Rabbi in Chittagong.

Omar Farooq Sagar, Coordinator of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement, said that the previous fascist government had crippled the country's economy by looting. Genocide has been repeatedly committed in the country on the orders of Sheikh Hasina. An example of appropriate justice should be set so that no one should do such a misadventure in the future. Dosars are still conniving with different circles in various ways. So now this genocide must be judged by an impartial investigation of international standards.
