Plantation by 84 Event Group on Youth Festival in Barishal

"Come change the country, change the world" Let the innocent lives of children in Shishu Parivar remain green like green trees, this slogan was used by '84 Event Group' to celebrate the Youth Festival in Barishal.
On Monday, the city's Government Shishu Parivar (South) Beauty Improvement Campaign and tree planting program was inaugurated by Director General of the Department of Social Services Md. Saidur Rahman Khan.
The program was presided over by Barisal Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Delwar Hossain.
Superintendent of Police Md. Sharif Uddin, Director of Barisal Divisional Social Services Office Shah Md. Rafiqul Islam, Civil Surgeon Maria Hasan, Deputy Director of District Social Services Office A.K.M. Akhtaruzzaman Talukder, Assistant Director Sajjad Parvez and friends of 84 Event were present at the time.
Members of '84 Event' said that English poet William Blake wrote a poem called 'The School Boy' about a schoolboy gasping for breath in the stuffy atmosphere of the school. He wanted to enjoy the birdsong on every tree outside the school on a summer morning. Standing at the beginning of 2025, we can still hear the echo of the boy's pitiful plea mentioned in Blake's poem. The boy is basically a symbolic form of our children. Education is the fundamental right of every child and this education must be through joy.
