Over 200 illegal structures evicted in Gopalganj
Gopalganj Correspondent
The administration has evicted nearly two hundred illegal structures built on government land in Kotalipara, Gopalganj on Sunday morning in Ghaghar Bazaar and surrounding areas.
Executive Magistrate of the District Administration, Md. Russel Munshi, stated that the structures were built on land belonging to the District Council, Roads and Highways Department, and Water Development Board over an extended period.
Although notices were issued to the encroachers several days ago, many did not remove their establishments. As a result, a joint operation was carried out to remove all illegal structures.
Officials from the District Council, Roads and Highways Department, and Water Development Board were also present during the drive.
