One fined by upazila administration for construction over canal in Boalkhali

A man has been fined by the Upazila administration for the construction over canal in Boalkhali, Chattogram.
UNO and Executive Magistrate Mohammad Rahmat Ullah conducted the operation on Thursday.
A man named Yunuch was fined of Tk 5,000 for the construction over the canal by building artificial dams by illegally occupying the connecting canal adjacent to Kadhurkhal Sharif Para Chowdhury Hut of Boalkhali. Besides, artificial dams are removed and construction work is stopped.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kaniz Fatema and staff of the Land Office were present. Boalkhali Police Station assisted the operation.
