One arrested with Yaba in anti-drug operation in Narail

One person has been arrested with Yaba tablets in an anti-drug operation conducted by the Detective Branch (DB) police in Narail.
Under the directives of the Superintendent of Police, Narail, and with the aim of building a drug-free Narail, a special drive was carried out yesterday based on a secret tip-off. The operation was conducted under the supervision of OC of DB Police, Inspector Md. Shahadara Khan (PPM). Sub-Inspector Jahangir Alam, ASI Nahid Niaz, and an accompanying force conducted the anti-drug operation in the area of Narail Sadar Police Station.
During the operation, Rubel Bhuiyan (28), son of Md. Sabur Bhuiyan, of Boramara, under 1 No. Maijpara Union in Narail Sadar, was apprehended from the paved road in front of Tipu Shikder’s house in Boramara. A total of 15 pieces of the illegal drug Yaba tablets were recovered and seized from his possession at the scene.
A regular case is in the process of being filed at Narail Sadar Police Station in this regard.
