Notun Kuri Sports inaugurated in Dinajpur

With this theme, 'Notun Kuri Sports (Season-2)' has started in Dinajpur.
Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Tarique Rahman MP, officially inaugurated the Natoon Kuri Sports Season-2 across Bangladesh simultaneously from the Khulna Stadium on Thursday afternoon.
As part of this, 'Natun Kudi Sports (Season-2)' was inaugurated in Dinajpur with a grand ceremony as part of the Youth and Sports Festival organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports across the country.
Syed Jahangir Alam, MP, Member of Parliament for Dinajpur Sadar-3 constituency, inaugurated the new bud sports season-2 with the participation of students from 10 unions of the upazila at the inaugural ceremony at the Dinajpur Stadium.
Also present at the event were Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Rafiqul Islam, Superintendent of Police Zedan Al Musa, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sarbik SM Habibul Hasan, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ruhul Amin Sharif, District BNP Senior Vice President Md. Mokarram Hossain, Sadar Upazila BNP President Abu Bakar Siddique, officials from various government departments, local political leaders, students of various schools and colleges, teachers, and hundreds of guardians and sports enthusiasts.
Speakers at the event said that sports not only ensure physical fitness, but also help the youth of the society to build a bright future and a disciplined career by keeping them away from drugs and criminal activities. It was hoped that through events like Notun Kudi Sports, new talented players will emerge from the grassroots level.
After the inauguration, the stadium premises took on a festive atmosphere with the participation of young players from No. 3 Fazilpur and No. 6 Auliapur Unions. At the end of the match, Fazilpur Union won in a trybreaker.
