Monthly police-magistrate conference held in Barguna

A monthly police-magistrate conference has been held in Barguna to bring dynamism to the criminal justice process, increase coordination between the relevant institutions, and make judicial activities faster and more effective by removing existing obstacles.
The conference was held at the conference room of the District and Sessions Judge Court on Wednesday at around 3:30 pm, organized by the Barguna Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.
Barguna Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. Iqbal Masud presided over the conference and Judicial Magistrate Md. Arif Hossain moderated it. Superintendent of Police Md. Qudrat-e-Khuda, PPM-Service, Additional District Magistrate Sajal Chandra Shil, learned judges, lawyers, concerned officials at various levels and officers-in-charge of all police stations in the district were present at the conference.
The conference discussed various issues related to ensuring justice, including the proper investigation of criminal cases, proper issuance of warrants, ensuring the presence of witnesses in court, providing them with security, and presenting evidence of the case from the premises to the court at the scheduled time.
At this time, emphasis was placed on more effective coordination between the police, courts, and related institutions to complete criminal justice processes quickly and efficiently.
