Human chain protesting appointment of supervisors, information collectors from AL workers in Nilphamari-

Locals have formed a human chain in Gorgram Union of Nilphamari Sadar Upazila to protest the appointment of banned Awami League workers to the posts of family card supervisors and information collectors. The hour-long human chain program was held at Bakultala intersection of Bhabaniganj Bazar in Gorgram at 11:30 am on Wednesday.
Local residents Wadud Islam, Rezaul Islam, Abul Kalam, Abdus Sobhan, Zikrul Islam, Mashiur Rahman and Mominul Islam, among others, spoke at the human chain.
The speakers complained that banned Awami League workers have been appointed as supervisors and information collectors to collect information for issuing family cards. They demanded the immediate cancellation of the appointments of those who have been appointed as supervisors and data collectors in Gorgram Union. otherwise, they warned stronger movement.
