Man detained by Ansar for hacking attempt at Dhaka EPZ ATM booth

On-duty Ansar personnel apprehended a man while he was attempting to hack a female customer's bank account at a Dutch-Bangla Bank ATM booth in the Ashulia Old EPZ area on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 2:00 PM when the suspect attempted to deceitfully obtain the customer's personal identification number (PIN) while she was withdrawing money from the machine.
Realizing the fraudulent attempt, the woman rushed out of the ATM booth and raised an alarm. Hearing her cries for help, nearby Ansar members promptly gave chase and detained the suspect on the spot. During primary questioning, the detainee was identified as Md. Milon Mia, 36.
Local residents and service seekers praised the swift response of the Ansar team, comprising PC Farid Hossain, APC Sobhan, and Ansar member Md. Sablu Mia.
7Milon was handed over to the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) officials, who later released him after securing a written undertaking.
