
Main accused in murder case of district Jubo Dal leader in Gafargaon expelled

Mymensingh (South) District Joba Dal member Yasin Khan has been expelled from the party in the brutal murder of Jubo Dal activist Mehedi Hasan Rakib (28) in the Pagla police station area of Gafargaon upazila of Mymensingh.
This information was given in a press release on Wednesday (March 19) afternoon. A press release signed by Minhajul Abedin Bhaiya, Joint Office Secretary of the Jubo Dal Central Committee, said that Yasin Khan, a member of the Mymensingh South District Youth Party, has been expelled from the party along with his primary membership on clear allegations of being involved in activities against party discipline. Bangladesh Nationalist Jubo Dal Central Executive Committee President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan have already implemented this decision.
The press release further stated that the party will not take responsibility for any misdeeds of the expelled leaders. All leaders and activists of the Jubo Dal have been instructed not to have organizational relations with him. Meanwhile, Mehdi Hasan Rakib's father Mujibur Rahman filed a murder case with Pagla Police Station on Tuesday (March 18) night in connection with the brutal murder of his father. Expelled district Jubo Dal leader Yasin Khan is the main accused in the case. Pagla Police Station OC Ferdous Alam confirmed the matter.
