LGRD State Minister Shahe Alam : Govt committed to implementing every letter of July Charter

State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Mir Shahe Alam said, "The spirit of the July Uprising is not just a chapter in history, but it is a symbol of Bangladesh's struggle for democracy, rights and people's liberation. The government is committed to implementing every letter of the July Charter."
The State Minister made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the renovation work of Mir Mughd Square in Shibganj Upazila premises of Bogura on Friday.
The State Minister said, "Mir Mughd Square is not just the name of an establishment, it is a symbol of the sacrifice, courage and aspirations of the people of July. Every day when people pass by this square, they will remember the sacrifice of the martyrs and wounded warriors of July."
The State Minister also said, "The sacrifices of those brave martyrs whose fresh blood led to the fall of the fascist government can never go in vain. Every martyr and wounded warrior of July will live forever in our hearts. The debt of their sacrifice can never be repaid."
Mir Shahe Alam said, "The Bangladesh of the martyrs' dreams will be built through the implementation of the July Charter. The government is working sincerely to implement that goal." The State Minister urged all concerned to be aware of protecting the beauty and dignity of Mir Mughd Square.
Local public representatives, upazila BNP leaders and activists, government officials, July Movement fighters, martyrs' family members, and people from different walks of life were present at the event.
