KCC Administrator Manju warns against negligence in cleanliness drives

Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Administrator Nazrul Islam Manju held a meeting with supervisors of the Conservancy Department from all 31 wards at Shaheed Altaf Auditorium of Nagar Bhaban on Sunday afternoon.
The meeting was organized to further strengthen and accelerate the city's cleanliness activities.
During the meeting, the Administrator sought explanations from the concerned ward supervisors regarding various irregularities observed during his recent inspections. He warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against anyone found negligent in carrying out cleanliness duties.
Nazrul Islam Manju also stated that no one would be allowed to conduct business activities by keeping goods on roads and obstructing public movement. He directed the relevant officials to issue notices to those operating businesses by occupying road space with merchandise.
