July awakening cultural evening held in Barishal

On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the July Uprising, the July Awakening Cultural Evening was organized by the Barisal Metropolitan Branch of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir.
The program began at 5 pm on Friday at the Ashwini Kumar Town Hall in Barisal with an exhibition featuring various memories of July. This was followed by performances by children and teenagers, inspirational songs, country songs, readings of the July book, plays and recitations, and various cultural events that continued until 11 pm.
The performance was attended by the Herarashmi Shilpi Gosthi and the Desiya Sangskriti Sangsad, Barisal. In addition, renowned artists Golam Mawla and Malik Abdul Latif were present as invited artists and performed delightful music.
Barishal Metropolitan Chhatra Shibir President Atiqul Islam delivered the welcome speech. Metropolitan Secretary Asiful Haque, Central Library Secretary Habibullah Khandaker, and Central Planning and Development Secretary Sumon Sarkar were also present.
Besides, leaders of Barisal Metropolitan Jamaat and District Jamaat, leaders of District Chhatra Shibir were present and enjoyed the program. Nearly a thousand men, women and children and teenagers enjoyed the entire program on the ground and second floors of the Town Hall.
It is worth noting that Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has announced various programs nationwide to mark the second anniversary of the July Uprising, as part of which this cultural evening was held in Barisal.
