Alamgir Hossain, Manikchhari (Khagrachhari)

 The mischievous voice of the popular cartoon Shinchan, the tenderness of Doraemon, or the instructive pronunciation of Mina - everything seems to come alive in Jerin's voice.

 Aisha Akhter Jerin of Matiranga Upazila of Khagrachari has become quite famous on social media by mimicking the voices of more than 30 cartoon characters, including Mina Katun's Mina, Raju, Mithu, Sisimpur's Ikri and Ninja Hatori.

Jerin is studying in the third year of Manikganj Nursing College near Dhaka. In addition, she can perfectly imitate the voices of all popular cartoon characters in Bengali, English and Hindi. She has successfully done voice-overs not only in cartoons, but also in various video documentaries and reports. Her lively voice and imitation skills bring smiles to the faces of netizens every day.

There is an inspiring story behind her mimicry journey - a separate chapter built on humiliation, struggle and confidence. In her childhood, Jerin's speech was not clear. Teachers or classmates could not understand her in class. Teachers would also complain to her parents about this. Still, she did not give up. A firm resolve was born in her little mind - one day she would amaze everyone with this voice. While sitting at home watching cartoons during the Corona period, she tried to imitate and one day unknowingly became an expert in mimicry. She used to practice by watching YouTube and Facebook videos regularly. Today, that resolve has turned into talent.

In this regard, Jerin said, "I loved watching cartoons since I was a child. I found the voices of the characters very interesting. At one point, I wanted to portray them in my own voice. Gradually, I learned the voice myself." Jerin wants to establish herself as a voice artist at the national or international level.

The story of this singer, who is moving forward on the path to fulfilling her dreams, proves that those who have confidence can turn their weaknesses into strengths. And Zerin is the name of that brave voice.
