Haven Foundation felicitates 25 voluntary organizations in Sandwip

The Haven Foundation felicitates 25 voluntary organizations in Sandwip in recognition of their social and humanitarian work.
UNO Regan Chakma was present as the chief guest at the reception held at the Upazila Conference Room at 4 pm on Wednesday.
The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of The Haven Foundation, London-based engineer Monir Mahmud. The meeting was moderated by the Foundation's Coordinator, Principal Kamrul Hasan. Master Abul Kashem Shilpi, journalist Ilias Kamal Babu, poet Nilanjan Bidyut, Master Abdur Rahman Ripon, journalist Saiful Islam Insaf, Badal Roy Swadhin, Hasanuzzaman Sandwipi, Ilias Sumon, Nazrul Naeem, Mobarak Hossain, cultural activist Akram Khan Mukul, Master Abdur Rahim Rahi and Master Shahed Khan among others spoke.
In the meeting, the leaders of each organization highlighted the humanitarian and social activities of their own organization from the beginning to the present, as well as their future work plans. The speakers said that this is the first time that any organization in Sandwip is giving formal recognition to so many social organizations at once. For which we thank and express our gratitude to the officials of the organization for this exceptional initiative. The main organizer of the event, The Heaven Foundation Chairman Monir Mahmud, a London-based engineer, said that if necessary, I can spend up to one lakh taka per day for the people of Sandwip. So if anyone really needs any humanitarian assistance, please tell me and I will respond to it. However, I am not willing to cooperate with patients suffering from terminal diseases who have no chance of survival. I promise that after receiving your information, I will send the right donation to the right place. I provide humanitarian assistance to many countries besides Bangladesh through the Heaven Foundation.
