Friends of dictatorship can use various strategies to survive : Prof Dr Zahid

BNP Standing Committee Member Professor Dr. A. Z. M. Zahid Hossain said, we must remember that the friends of tyranny are around our homes. They are in our cities, in our villages and in our towns. They have a lot of looted money. They can mislead you or the party leaders and workers. They can use various types of slander and various strategies to survive. So that we do not fall into that conspiracy.
He made these remarks as the chief guest at the Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila Conference held after almost 19 years on Sunday afternoon.
Dr. A. Z. M. Zahid also said, today many people say many things. I want to say in clear language that BNP's address is widespread among the 180 million people of Bangladesh. There is no reason to think that if BNP is pushed a little, it will bow down. The runaway dictatorship could not suppress BNP even after 17 years of hundreds of disappearances, killings, millions of cases and defendants.
The conference, held in the area adjacent to M Saifur Rahman Stadium in Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila, was presided over by BNP Sylhet Division Organizing Secretary Alhaj GK Gaus, Assistant Secretary Kalim Uddin Ahmed Milon, National Executive Committee member and former MP M Naser Rahman.
Under the chairmanship of Sadar Upazila BNP Convener Badrul Alam and jointly moderated by District BNP Convener Committee Member Secretary Abdur Rahim Ripon and Member Baksi Misbah Ur Rahman, United State BNP President MA Malek, District BNP Convener Faizul Karim Mayun, BNP leader Haji Mujibur Rahman Mujib also spoke.
At the beginning of the program, the chief guest inaugurated the conference 2025 by flying the national and party flags and the pigeon, a symbol of peace.
Later, the voting was held amidst great enthusiasm and excitement. Md. Abdul Mukit served as the Chief Election Commissioner.
