Fish feed distributed among affected marginal fish farmers in Noakhali

Fish feed has been distributed among marginal fish farmers affected by the sudden flood in August 2024 in Senbag Upazila, Noakhali, as part of the 2024-25 fiscal year initiatives.
The distribution program, organized by the Senbag Upazila Fisheries Officer’s Office was held on Sunday afternoon at the Senbag Upazila Parishad premises. The chief guest was Senbag UNO Md. Mahi Uddin.
Chaired by Upazila Fisheries Officer K.M. Mahfuzur Rahman, the event was attended by special guest Masuma Akter, Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer of Begumganj. Other attendees included Women’s Affairs Officer Pompa Kar, Upazila Rural Development Officer Hasina Akter, and sports organizer Ala Uddin, a member of the Senbag Upazila Fisheries Development Committee nominated by the UNO.
Under the revenue budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year, a total of 132 sacks of fish feed were distributed this year.
