Feni DDLG holds view-exchange with Gram Police members

A view-exchange meeting was held on Saturday with representative Gram Police (Village police ) members originating from various union parishads across Feni district. Two Gram Police members from each union participated in the event.
Nuruddin Muhammad Shibly Noman, Deputy Director of Local Government (DDLG) (Deputy Secretary) for Feni District, Administrator of Feni Pourashava, and Chief Executive Officer of the District Council—attended the meeting.
During the discussion, the DDLG inquired about the overall well-being of the Gram Police personnel and listened attentively to their grievances, professional challenges, and various demands.
The meeting highlighted the critical role played by the Gram Police in maintaining law and order at the grassroots level, ensuring public safety, and facilitating administrative activities. Detailed discussions were held regarding their field responsibilities, operational challenges, and potential ways to streamline local administrative support.
