Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud, MP from Patuakhali-2 (Bauphal) constituency, has been appointed as a member of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the National Parliament. By receiving this important responsibility, he got the opportunity to play a role in policy-making discussions on various issues related to information, media and broadcasting in the National Parliament.
Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud was elected as a Member of Parliament from Patuakhali-2 (Baufal) constituency in the 13th National Parliament election of 2026. The news of his victory in the election results was published in various media outlets.
