District BNP emergency meeting held in Khulna

An emergency meeting was held at the Khulna district BNP party office at 11 am on Tuesday.
District BNP convener Moniruzzaman Montu president over the meeting and senior joint convener Ad: Momrezul Islam moderated the meeting. Joint conveners Khan Zulfikar Ali Zulu, Mollah Khairul Islam, Sheikh Taibur Rahman, Shamim Kabir, Gazi Tafsir Ahmed, GM Kamruzzaman Tuku, Professor Monirul Haque Babul and Babu Asit Kumar Saha spoke.
The Dakop Upazila and Chalna Municipality BNP committees were declared dissolved in the emergency meeting. At the same time, Chalna Municipality BNP convener Mozaffar Hossain was temporarily expelled. A recommendation was made to the central committee for final expulsion.
A decision was taken to issue a show cause notice to Chalna Municipality BNP joint convener Ayub Ali Kazi stating why organizational action (final expulsion) should not be taken against him for his involvement in anti-organization activities.
