Discussion of former Chhatra League leaders of Wales UK on 77th anniv of Chhatra League in Cardiff

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the glory, tradition and struggle of Bangladesh Chhatra League, the former Bangladesh Chhatra League leaders and activists of Wales UK organized a discussion meeting and dinner party on Tuesday (January 7) noon in Cardiff, the capital of Wales, Britain.
The meeting was chaired by the General Secretary of Wales Awami League and former student leader MA Malik and it was conducted by the President of Wales Jubo League and former student leader VP Selim Ahmed.
The chief guest was the President of Wales Awami League and the founding president of Wales Chhatra League, former student leader Mohammad Makis Mansur, as special guests were the Joint General Secretary of Wales Awami League Golam Mortuza, Joint General Secretary Alhaj Liaquat Ali, former President of Wales Jubo League Joynal Ahmed Shibul, former student leader Abdul Wahid Babul, Senior Vice President of Wales Jubo League Abul Kalam Mumin, General Secretary of Wales Jubo League Mofiqul Islam, former student leader Sajell Ahmed, Wales Chhatra League President Mohammad Badrul Haque Mansur and General Secretary Shahjahan Talukder Shaon, along with leaders of Awami League, Jubo League and former Chhatra League, delivered speeches.
In his speech as the chief guest, Mohammad Makis Mansur, the founding president of Wales Chhatra League and former president of Wales Awami Jubo League, said that on the 77th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Chhatra League, a student organization that made an incomparable contribution to the path of Bangladesh's independence and made the highest sacrifice in the great liberation war, he warmly congratulated all the leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League who, despite facing mountain-like obstacles and dangers from the present government, risked their lives and celebrated the anniversary program with deep passion and love for the organization.
He said that the history and tradition of the long 77-year-old Chhatra League cannot be held hostage by any miscreants, stating that "Bangladesh Chhatra League is our roots, our pride, our identity; Former president of Wales Awami Jubo League, M.A. Malik said that Bangladesh Chhatra League is a beacon of thought and consciousness for building Bangladesh, the aspirations of the Liberation War.
Wales Jubo League President and former student leader VP Selim Ahmed said, the history of the traditional Chhatra League is the history of struggle, the history of Chhatra League is the history of struggle in the Bengali, Bengali, independence and freedom movement; history can never be erased with the pen!
