Closing ceremony, award distribution of National Fruit Fair held in Satkhira

With the theme "Eat more local fruits, let's plant fruit trees," the closing ceremony and award distribution of the National Fruit Fair 2025 were held in Satkhira on Saturday afternoon.
The event was held at the conference room of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), Khamarbari, Satkhira, organized by the District Administration and the DAE. The program was chaired by DAE Deputy Director, Agriculturist Md. Saiful Islam, with Satkhira Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Shoaib Ahmad delivering a speech as the chief guest.
Speeches were also delivered at the closing and award distribution ceremony by Horticulture Center Satkhira Deputy Director, Agriculturist Md. Amjad Hossain, DAE Khamarbari Assistant Deputy Director, Agriculturist Jamal Uddin, Scientific Officer of Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) Milan Kabir, and Scientific Officer Moshiur Rahman, among others.
Prior to the award distribution, the guests visited various stalls at the fruit fair, and Katimon mango saplings were distributed among students of Satkhira Ahsania Mission Hafizia Madrasa and Orphanage, as well as residents of the municipality and Sadar Upazila. Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officers, farmers, and female farmers were present at the event.
The entire program was moderated by Additional Agriculture Officer Plabani Sarker.
