Cleanliness drive, awareness campaign to prevent dengue simultaneously in 12 unions of Feni Sadar Upazila

As per the previously announced action plan to combat the nationwide dengue outbreak, a special cleanliness drive and awareness campaign has been carried out simultaneously in 12 unions of Feni Sadar Upazila.
This day-long program was successfully completed on Saturday. Mohammad Mahbubul Karim, Deputy Commissioner, Feni visited Panchgachhia and Kazirbagh Unions to see the cleanliness activities and provided necessary guidance.
In addition, as per the weekly sequence, Miss Sultana Nasrin Kanta, UNO of Feni Sadar Upazila, directly participated in this special campaign today. She was present at the field level in Chanua and Panchgachhia Unions of the upazila and inspected the cleanliness activities and distributed leaflets and provided guidance to make the general public aware.
UP financial and administrative officers of the concerned union, UP administrative officers, voluntary organizations, dignitaries, and the public of the area participated in the cleanliness drive and awareness campaign.
Destroying the breeding grounds of Aedes mosquitoes, keeping the surroundings of the house clean, and removing stagnant water to spread awareness about dengue prevention in every household. Such preventive and public awareness activities will continue in the future on behalf of the upazila administration.
