Betagi UP Member Kenan Sikdar passes away

Kenan Sikdar (46), a well-known figure and UP member of Ward No. 8 of Betagi Sadar Union, resident of Palkanda, passed away at his home on Friday at 6:25 PM.
His death has cast a pall of grief over social media in Betagi.
He had been suffering from liver cirrhosis for a long time. At the time of his death, he left behind his wife, one son, two daughters, and numerous admirers and relatives.
According to family sources, his funeral prayer will be held on Saturday at 10 AM, after which he will be laid to rest in the family graveyard.
Deep shock and grief over his demise have been expressed by Betagi Press Club President Saidul Montu and the editor of Weekly Bishkhali, Abdus Salam Siddiqui.
