Attempt to rape of third-grade child, accused absconding in Mirzapur

Attempted rape of a third-grade student in Mirzapur, Tangail.The accused has been absconding since the incident became known in the area. Mirzapur Police Station SI Pradeep Kumar confirmed the matter.
According to family sources, last Tuesday the child went out of the house to play as usual. Later, the man called the child and tried to rape him.
The incident took place in Paikpara village of Banail Union of the upazila.The accused is the father of the same village: Lavu Miah (50), son of the deceased Abdul.
In this regard, Muhammad Rashedul Islam of Mirzapur Police Station told the Daily country today newspaper that he has filed a written complaint with the police station after the incident. A case has been filed based on the complaint filed by the victim's father, Rubel.He said that the accused is absconding and efforts are underway to arrest him.
