A student who is taking the entrance exam has filed an allegation of attempted rape against ICT teacher Maidul Islam Liton of Sharfuddin Dakhil Madrasa in Rajarhat.

On spot  investigation it is  revealed that on Wednesday morning, when the ICT teacher went to take a coaching class, Maidul Islam asked the student to sit in the next room. After a while, he sent off the remaining students and entered the room, closed the door and tried to take off her clothes. 

Hearing the girl's screams, two local youths named Zillur and Shah Alam went to the spot and found the accused teacher in an objectionable state. Eyewitness Zillur Rahman said that we were having tea at a nearby shop. Hearing the girl's screams, Shah Alam and I went and saw the teacher in an objectionable state. 

Then the teacher held our hands and feet and regretted the incident. Later, after the dignitaries of the area assured him of appropriate justice, he was released.  In this regard, the victim madrasa student said, "Sir, he had been making bad proposals to me for quite some time, saying that he would give me a job in family planning and marriage. This morning, he called me saying that he had an urgent matter regarding the job. When the students of the 8th batch left, he called me to the next room, closed the door and tried to rape me. Hearing my screams, some young men from the area came and rescued me.

When I spoke to the accused teacher Maidul Islam Liton on the mobile phone in this regard, he said that the complaint was fabricated and imaginary. No complaint has been filed with the police station till the time of writing this report.
