Ansar-VDP members repair damaged roads through voluntary labor in Rangpur

Members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (Ansar-VDP) repaired damaged roads through voluntary labor in Badarganj upazila of Rangpur, bringing relief to local residents and commuters.
Following directions from the Rangpur District Commandant, the voluntary repair drive was conducted across various points in Kutubpur Union under Badarganj upazila from 4:15 PM on Saturday.
A total of 20 Ansar-VDP members took part in the initiative under the direction of Upazila Trainer Md. Nasimul Ferdous. As part of the repair work, volunteers filled large depressions, potholes, and hazardous structural gaps near the Sardarpara Wooden Bridge in Kutubpur Union, while also levelling adjacent roadside pits with soil to restore safe vehicular and pedestrian movement.
The field operations were led by Kutubpur Union VDP Team Leader Tariqul Islam, VDP Female Team Leader Shirina Akhtar, Union Ansar Platoon Commander Nirasha Mamun, and Assistant Platoon Commander Md. Abdur Rashid.
