Vigilant Bangladesh Ansar members rescued two lost young children in separate incidents at government hospitals in Kushtia and Nilphamari on Saturday, restoring them safely to their families within hours.
At Kushtia Medical College Hospital, three-year-old Muttakin went missing while visiting the facility with his family. Noticing the distressed parents, an Ansar team led by Platoon Commander (PC) Md. Golam Mostafa, along with members Torikul and Selim, initiated a search across the complex and successfully located the child on the fourth floor. Following proper verification, the child was reunited with his parents.
In a similar incident at Nilphamari Sadar General Hospital, Ansar members Raju Rana and Ruku Mia spotted an unattended two-and-a-half-year-old child, Mohammad Samiul Islam, wandering in the outpatient department. Acting under the direction of PC Md. Aminur Islam, the team conducted a search throughout the facility, eventually locating the child's mother on the sixth floor and handing over the boy safely.
Both families expressed profound gratitude to the Ansar personnel for their prompt action, while hospital authorities and visitors commended the force's dedicated service and humanitarian response.
