
Aminul Islam Bulbul assures cricket development in Dohar, Nawabganj

The newly- elected President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Aminul Islam Bulbul, has assured support for the development of cricket in Dohar and Nawabganj Upazilas on Sunday.
Khandakar Mahmud Arshin, former Sports Affairs Secretary of Dhaka District BNP and President of Nawabganj Cricket Academy, paid a courtesy visit to Aminul Islam Bulbul, the newly elected BCB President and Bangladesh’s first Test centurion, at the BCB headquarters in Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. During this meeting, Bulbul made the assurance.
The discussion between the two focused on key issues, including the development of cricket in the country, building grassroots-level infrastructure, and providing training and opportunities for young players. Khandakar Mahmud Arshin has been working tirelessly for years to promote cricket in Nawabganj and surrounding areas. His Nawabganj Cricket Academy has already gained recognition as a reliable institution for nurturing local talented players.
After the meeting, Khandakar Mahmud Arshin said, “Aminul Islam Bulbul is not only a pride of Bangladesh’s cricket history but also a beacon of hope for us as he now leads the BCB. I believe that under his experience and leadership, the country’s cricket will advance further.”
During the meeting, BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul praised Khandakar Mahmud Arshin’s contributions and welcomed his initiatives to promote cricket at the grassroots level.
Both expressed enthusiasm for working together in the future and voiced optimism about undertaking joint projects to advance cricket development
