900 marginal farmers in Kalapara get free seeds, fertilizers

Free seeds and chemical fertilizers have been distributed among small and marginal farmers in Kalapara, Patuakhali on Thursday.
Under the incentive program in the Kharip-1 season of the 2024-25 fiscal year, 5 kg seeds, 10 kg DAP and 10 kg MOP fertilizers were distributed to each farmer
Kalapara UNO Md. Rabiul Islam inaugurated the distribution program as the chief guest at the Upazila Agricultural Seed Storage organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension.
Kalapara Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Md. Arafat Hossain, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Moksedul Alam, CPP Officer Md. Asaduzzaman and Kalapara Press Club Convener Md. Humayun Kabir were present at the time, among others.
