9 arrested in Rajshahi on various charges

A total of 9 individuals have been arrested, including one in "Operation Devil Hunt," along with operations conducted by the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and Detective Branch (DB) police in Rajshahi Metropolitan on Wednesday.
Like rest of the rest of the country, "Operation Devil Hunt" was conducted in Rajshahi Metropolis to prevent instability. Over the past 24 hours, operations were carried out in various locations across the metropolis, leading to the arrest of 1 person on charges related to attacking the anti-discrimination student movement, causing explosions, engaging in terrorist activities, and other crimes. Additionally, RMP operations resulted in the arrest of 8 individuals, including 3 with active warrants, 1 in a drug-related case, and 4 for other offenses.
The individual arrested under Operation Devil Hunt is Md. Mukul Ali (38), an Awami League activist, son of the late Delowar Hossain from the Uttar Nawdapara area under Shahmakhdum Thana in Rajshahi Metropolis.
Legal action has been taken against the arrested accused.
