4 AL leaders arrested for murder during student movement in Ashulia

Several police teams of Ashulia Thana conducted raid in different area and arrested four murder suspects during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Ashulia on Thursday early night.
The arrestees were identified as Md Taijul Talukder (50), Md Manik Palwan (40), Md Ashraf Ahmed (40) & Md Mominul Haq (45).
According to the police, on August 4 and 5, the leaders and activists of Awami League and its associate bodies in Ashulia which led to the deaths of several students during the anti-discrimination movement. The families of the victims filed several cases in this regard with the Ashulia police station.
Nur-e-Alam Siddique, OC of Ashulia Police Station, said the four accused in the student people killing case were arrested on Thursday early night after conducting raids of several police team in different areas of Ashulia based on secret information of using technology. Accused have been sent to the court.
