Blankets distributed in Sreepur

Blankets have been distributed among the helpless and poor cold-stricken people in Sreepur under Gazipur district.
Blankets were distributed among more than four hundred cold-stricken people at the initiative of Shahjalal Islami Bank in Tengra village of Telihati union of the upazila on Friday morning.
At this time, under the chairmanship of former student leader Alamgir Hossain and the moderator of Sreepur Upazila Industrial Zone Sramik Dal member secretary Rana Ahmed Akand, Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam Bachchu Joint Health Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Central Committee was present as the chief guest. Engineer Khandaker Mejbah Uddin was present as the special guest.
At that time, municipal youth leader Monir Hossain, Telihati Union Volunteer Party leader Rais Uddin Fakir, Ward No. 4 Youth Party President Khokon Mia, Gazipur District Chhatra Dal Organizing Secretary Rana Pratap, Telihati Union Youth Party leader Al Amin Sheikh, Sreepur Upazila Zia Cultural Society Convener Arifur Rahman, Chhatra Dal leaders Zahid Hasan, Maruf Hasan Apu, Hafiz Uddin and local leaders were present.
