Kulaura Municipality 3rd Merit Scholarship Exam, prize dstribution held

The Kulaura Municipality of Moulvibazar organized the 3rd Merit Scholarship Examination 2024 (5th and 8th class) general and talent pool scholarship recipients on Thursday.
Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Md. Israil Hossain attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed the prizes under the chairmanship of Municipal Administrator Md. Mohi Uddin and the moderatorship of Secretary Sharadindu Bhatracharya. Upazila Primary Education Officer Iftekhar Hossain Bhuiyan, Upazila Press Club General Secretary Nazmul Bari Suhel, and eighth grade student Uttara Roy Lakshmi spoke as special guests.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shah Zahurul Hossain, Upazila Health P.O. Officer Dr. Zakir Hossain, Social Service Officer Pranesh Chandra Barma, Headmaster of Naveen Chandra Model High School Amir Hossain, Headmaster of Girls High School Abdul Matin, Headmaster of Rabeya Government Primary School Abdus Salam, Municipal Executive Engineer Shahidul Islam, Assistant Engineer Kamrul Islam, former councilor Joynal Abedin Bachchu, Harunur Rashid, Sultana Begum Laili, Senior Journalist Khaled Parvez Box, Mohi Uddin Ripon, Student Coordinator Adnan Chowdhury, Sheikh Badrul Islam Rana, Aryan Riyad and others were present.
It is worth mentioning that a total of 186 candidates, 123 from class 5 and 63 from class 8, participated in the Municipality's third merit scholarship examination. Out of these, 31 from class 5 and 14 from class 8 were successful and were awarded general and talent pool scholarships.
