Kurigram 22 BGB seized Indian goods worth over Tk 7 lakh

Kurigram Battalion (22 BGB) has seized various Indian goods worth approximately Tk 7,779,192 in a series of special operations conducted over the past seven days in its area of responsibility along the border. Two accused individuals were also arrested during the operations.
According to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), the seized items include Indian yaba tablets, Eskuf syrup, cattle, cosmetics and a large quantity of other smuggled goods.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Mahbub-ul-Haq, PSC, Commander of Kurigram Battalion (22 BGB), said that the battalion remains firmly committed to implementing the Bangladesh Border Guard's “zero tolerance” policy against border crimes, drug trafficking and smuggling.
