Tongibari Upazila Administration removes dredger, pipe , one arrested

A dredger pipe about one kilometer long has been removed in a drive by the Upazila Administration in Tongibari, Munshiganj and a dredger trader named Iqbal has been arrested.
The drive was conducted at around 10 am on Tuesday in Pachgaon Union of the Upazila. The drive was conducted by Tongibari UNO.Md. Mostafizur Rahman. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Wazed Wasif and Tongibari Police Station OC Md. Saiful Alam were present.
UNO Md. Mostafizur Rahman said, “Today we have removed a dredger pipe about one kilometer long and arrested the owner of the dredger. Action will be taken against the arrested person according to the law. This drive will continue in all 13 unions of the Upazila.”
