Monthly welfare meeting of Bsrishsl district police held : Awards given to best , reception to outgoing

The monthly welfare meeting of Barisal District Police has been held. The meeting was held at the Gratitude Hall of Police Lines at 10 am on Sunday n a very heartfelt and emotional atmosphere. Barisal District Superintendent of Police A. Z. M. Mostafizur Rahman presided over it.
According to the rules set by the welfare meeting, police members and officers of various ranks openly presented the various advantages and disadvantages of their workplace and the problems of daily life. The Superintendent of Police listened carefully to the statements of each member and gave immediate instructions to resolve them. At the end of the meeting, he gave important guidelines to the police members to serve the country with honesty and integrity while maintaining professionalism.
The most touching moment of the welfare meeting was the farewell reception for the police members who were going on PRL due to retirement. The Superintendent of Police presented the crests and certificates of honor to the colleagues who retired after a long career. At the same time, the best officers were given crests, certificates and cash awards in recognition of their important and heroic work in the month of August/2026.
An officer, who did not wish to be named regarding receiving the award, said that when proper appreciation for worthy work comes from the leadership, the enthusiasm of field-level police members for their work increases significantly.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md. Alaul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Gouranadi Circle) Abu Saleh Md. Ansar Uddin, along with senior officers of Barisal District Police and general force, were present at the event.
