ADB review meeting : Minister Faqir Mahbub urges swift execution of ICT projects

A review meeting on the implementation progress of projects under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division for the fiscal year 2025–26 was held on Wednesday at conference room of the ICT Division in Agargaon, Dhaka.
The session focused on evaluating the ongoing activities of the ICT Division, assessing the progress of various development projects, and outlining future action plans. During the meeting, respective Project Directors presented comprehensive updates regarding the implementation status of their individual projects.
Faqir Mahbub Anam, Minister for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, attended the event as the chief guest. Addressing the session, the minister emphasized the critical importance of expediting project implementation in an efficient and effective manner.
The review meeting was chaired by Mr. Md. Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan, Acting Secretary of the ICT Division. Senior officials of the ICT Division, representatives of relevant agencies, and various Project Directors were also present to participate in the discussions and strategic planning.
