We see society through the work of journalists, and that is how the needs, problems, and possibilities of the state's reform come to light. Society, individuals, and the state benefit from good news, said Shawkat Ara Urmi, MP for the reserved women's seat, who is on a visit to Meherpur.

She said this at a view-exchange meeting with journalists at the Meherpur Press Club on Sunday evening.

Shawkat Ara Urmi, MP for reserved Parliamentary seat 333, who received political responsibility from the nationalist party BNP, came to observe the overall activities and development of Meherpur 1 and Meherpur 2 constituencies and exchanged views with journalists. Also present at the time were Meherpur District BNP President and District Council Administrator Jabed Masud Milton, District BNP General Secretary Adv Kamrul Hasan, Meherpur Press Club President Faruk Hossain.

In the exchange of views, journalists spoke about the development of journalism at the district level, various problems in the district and ways to solve them. At this time, the issue of working in various departments such as drugs, sports, online gambling, infrastructural development, medical services, and education came up.

Journalists Wajezul Haque, Fazlul Haque Montu, Ruhul Quddus Tito, Rasheduzzaman, Liton, Monirul Islam, Mahbub Alam, and Omar Faruk highlighted these issues. The guests called for working together for the development of the district based on the words of the journalists.
