Road paving work inaugurated in Tongibari

The paving work has been inaugurated on a 380-foot-long and 8-foot-wide earthen road from Dhopabari to Sardarbari in Ward No. 1 of Kathadia-Shimulia Union in Tongibari Upazila of Munshiganj through brick paving.
The work was inaugurated on Sunday afternoon in Dhopabari area of Kathadia-Shimulia Union with prayers and supplications.
The speakers present at the time said that the locals had been facing extreme hardship in terms of transportation for a long time. Especially during the monsoon season, the road became muddy and slippery, and the common people had to face various sufferings as well as the risk of accidents. The construction of brick paving will make the transportation of local residents easier, safer and more comfortable.
Kathadia Shimulia Union Parishad Chairman candidate Md. Roni Gazi, local Jahangir Sarkar, Julhas Munshi, Habib Madbar, Mohsin Bepari, Habib Gazi, Shakil Bepari, Jabbar Sardar, Shahidul Islam, Union Parishad members Shyamal Gazi, Alam Bepari, Mojibur Sardar and other prominent people of the area were present at the inauguration ceremony.
