The other two members of the committee are - Sonaimuri Upazila Health Complex RMO Dr. Riaz Uddin Hospital's Anesthesia Department Doctor. Dr. Shafiq. Dr. Riaz Uddin, member secretary of the investigation committee and resident medical officer (RMO) of Sonaimuri Upazila Health Complex, said that the initial investigation did not find any evidence of wrong treatment by the doctor at Jamila Hospital. The doctor on duty at that hospital did not give the patient any treatment or anesthesia. The patient died after becoming restless. He will submit the investigation report very soon.
It is worth mentioning that the deceased Parvez, a resident of Badsha Mia Munshi Bari in the upazila, had been working as a driver abroad for 15 years. He returned to the country from Qatar a few days ago. He was admitted to Jamila Memorial Hospital last Friday afternoon for a tonsillectomy.
