Parents' gathering, distribution of turbans to Hafizs at Rahimia Orphanage Madrasa in Companiganj

A gathering of parents, provision of new lessons, and presentation of turbans to Quran memorizers were held at the traditional Rahimia Orphanage Madrasa in Charparbati Union of Companiganj Upazila of Noakhali to highlight the importance of improving the quality of education and religious education.
The event, organized at 10 am on Thursday at the Madrasa premises in Ward No. 2 of Charparbati Union, created a festive atmosphere with the spontaneous participation of students, guardians and local dignitaries.
The event, chaired by Nizam Uddin Khan, vice-chairman of the madrasa's managing committee, was attended by Advocate Mamunur Rashid Mamun, president of the managing committee of Char Parbati Scheduled Caste High School and lawyer of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
Prominent London-based columnist and journalist Md. Shah Alam spoke as a special guest at the event, moderated by Assistant Teacher Abu Raihan.
Also present at the event were prominent social worker Mohammad Ali Khan, former member secretary of Char Parbati Union Jubo Dal Main Uddin Masum, social worker Nur Uddin Nurmin, headmaster of Rahimia Orphanage Madrasa Abdullah Al Mamun, managing committee co-secretary journalist Kamrul Hasan Rubel and local dignitaries.
The speakers said in their speeches that the combined role of family, educational institutions and society is very important in building an ideal and moral person. They called on parents to be more aware and active in building morality and character, in addition to madrasa-based religious education.
At the end of the discussion, two students who had memorized the Quran were formally honored by wearing turbans. A joyful atmosphere was created among the students and their guardians.
The vibrant presence of teachers, students, and parents at the event made the entire event more meaningful and successful.
