A  march and rally was  held in Narail  protesting  the heinous, barbaric, demonic attack by the law enforcement agencies on former DUCSU VP Nurul Haque Nur, President of Gano Adikar Parishad and demanding ban on 14 -party alliances on Saturday noon.

A protest march organized by the Narail district branch of Gano Adikar Parishad  began at the Narail Press Club premises and ended at the same place after circling the main roads of the city.

After the protest march, a rally was held at the Narail Press Club premises.  The rally was presided over by Imam Hossain Selim, President of the Narail District Branch of Parishad.  The event was moderated by District General Secretary Mahbub Hossain Milan.

At this time, speeches were delivered by Tipu Sheikh, Organizing Secretary of the District People's Rights Council, Nazrul Islam, President of the Lohagara Upazila People's Rights Council, Faizullah, President of the Youth Rights Council, General Secretary Tahajbat Khan, General Secretary of the Workers' Rights Council, Monirul Molya, and Anisuzzaman Sohag, Narail District President of the Students' Rights Council. The speakers strongly condemned the attack on Nurul Haque Nur and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and exemplary punishment.

The speakers further said that the fascist Awami League and its allies are trying to suppress the democratic movement by attacking political leaders and activists of different views. In continuation of that, those who attacked VP Nur  should be arrested immediately and brought to justice. The Jatiya Party should be banned within the next 24 hours.

 However, the Gano Adikar Parishad will always be on the ground to achieve the just rights of the people through the movement.
