Through the 27th Council of the Bangladesh Student Union Gaibandha District Unit, Maitreya Hassan was unanimously elected President, Zakir Hasan as General Secretary and Shubh Mondal Organizing Secretary.
The council session was held at the temporary office of the District Student Union at Gaibandha city at 4 pm on Saturday and the Council session was chaired by Tahmid Chowdhury and the Maitreya Hassan Jayita. Earlier on Saturday, the municipal park was held at Shaheed Minar
