In Fulbari, Kurigram, free Masakalai seeds and fertilizers were distributed to 70 small and marginal farmers during the Kharip-2 season under the Agricultural Incentive Program in the 2025-26 fiscal year.
Kurigram Deputy Commissioner Nusrat Sultana officially inaugurated the distribution of seeds and fertilizers at the Upazila Agriculture Office premises on Wednesday at 5 pm. Present at the event were Khamarbari Kurigram Additional Deputy Director Asaduzzaman, Fulbari Upazila Executive Officer Rehnuma Tarannum, Upazila Agriculture Officer Nilufa Yasmin, local public representatives and farmers.
At this time, 10 kg of DOP, 5 kg of MOP fertilizer, and 5 kg of Masakalai were distributed free of charge to each farmer.
