Under the direction of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, former joint general secretary of South Korea BNP, former student leader Sheikh Shahjalal Shanto, organized a day-long Iftar items distribution program among the needy people in the entire upazila on Thursday.

Through an exceptional line of thinking, we have been able to deliver these Iftar items to their homes through my leaders and activists so that the identity of the beneficiaries does not come in front of the cameras and so that they can receive these Iftar items without any problems. We have to make arrangements for publicity so that people are inspired to donate after seeing this donation, but those who receive the gifts can never be brought in front of the camera.

He said that this program will continue and like before, our main goal is to help the helpless people of the society in any situation. On behalf of Shahjalal Shanta, his brother social worker Shahzada Alamgir distributed these Iftar items to a total of 300 helpless people including Kalibari, Srirampur, Jabusa, Samantasena, Godown More, East Rupsa, Tilak, Patharghata, South Khajadanga, North Khajadanga, Panchani, Colony, Kazdia, Narikeli Chandpur of Ghatbhog, Palerhat of Sriphaltala and Aichgati Union from the morning to the afternoon on March 13.

In addition, Shanta provided financial assistance for the overall development of a madrasa.
