An Eid reunion and discussion meeting for media workers working in Munshiganj district was held on the last working day of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr holiday.

The reunion program and discussion meeting was organized by the Munshiganj District Journalist Welfare Association at Shokher Hadi Restaurant at Mawa Shimulia Ghat in Louhajang Upazila of Munshiganj district on Saturday, April 5. After the discussion meeting at 2 pm, a lunch banquet was organized with Hilsa fish.

The speakers present at the event expressed their commitment to stand by all media workers who are being persecuted, including those from Munshiganj district and across the country.

The event was organized under the chairmanship of Munshiganj District Journalists Welfare Association President Md. Nazrul Islam, moderated by General Secretary MA Qayyum Maizbhandari, and under the overall supervision of Vice-President Abu Naser Limon and Organizing Secretary Sumon Ahmed.

During this time, they were fully supported by Treasurer Md. Mithu Talukder, Co-Propaganda and Publications Secretary Taijul Islam Bidyut, Co-Treasurer Md. Zahid Hossain and Executive Member Md. Firoz Alam Biplob.

Journalists Sagir Ahmed Masum, Indrajit Chandra Ghosh, Akhter Hossain, Anisur Rahman Niloy, Harun Or Rashid, Nazmul Islam, Rehman Asad, Gopal Das Hridoy, Dipu Malakar, Md.
