Distribution of agri incentive materials inaugurated in Sapahar by MP Mostafizur Rahman

A program to distribute free agricultural inputs among small and marginal farmers during the Kharif season has been inaugurated in Sapahar, Naogaon under the Agricultural Incentive Program for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
The inaugural ceremony, organized by the Upazila Agricultural Extension Department at 12:30 pm on Saturday. was attended by Naogaon-1 constituency MP Md. Mostafizur Rahman as the chief guest. UNO Romana Riaz presided over the function.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Mosha Shapla Khatun delivered the welcome speech at the event.
According to the relevant sources, under the agricultural incentive program, free summer onions, vegetables, seeds of Aman and chilli crops, chemical fertilizers and other agricultural inputs will be distributed among small and marginal farmers. In addition, seedlings of lemon and tree plantation programs, various inputs including organic fertilizers and air flow machines for onion preservation will be distributed.
Additional Agriculture Officer Moniruzzaman Talki, Police Station OC Mizanur Rahman, Upazila BNP President Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury Benu, General Secretary Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury Labu, Upazila BNP leaders and workers at various levels, officials from various government departments, farmers, officers and employees of the Agriculture Department, and dignitaries were present at the event.
