Patuakhali's Dashmina Upazila Government Abdur Rashid Talukder Degree College Chhatra Dal has announced a 16-member partial committee. Md. Hasan Ahmed Jidni has been elected as the president and Md. Rakib Hossain has been elected as the general secretary.
The approved committee signed by District Chhatra Dal convener Mehedi Hasan Shamim Chowdhury and member secretary Zakaria Ahmed was announced on August 14, but it was officially released on Tuesday afternoon. For a long time, there was enthusiasm among the students about the college Chhatra Dal committee. Finally, when this partial committee of 16 members was released through the announcement signed by the District Chhatra Dal, a joyful atmosphere was created among the leaders and activists.
The committee currently includes a senior vice-president, 6 other vice-presidents, 5 joint general secretaries, an organizing secretary, an office secretary and a publicity secretary. As per the instructions of the district Chhatra Dal, a full-fledged committee has been ordered to be formed within the next 30 days.
District Chhatra Dal convener Mehedi Hasan Shamim Chowdhury said on his mobile phone, "Only those who have sacrificed for the party on the field and have been active on the streets to restore democracy have been included in this committee. There is no place for terrorists, extortionists or drug addicts here."
Newly elected president Hasan Ahmed Jidni said, "This committee has been formed on the far-sighted decision of the district Chhatra Dal convener and member secretary. We will work to implement the 31-point declaration of Begum Khaleda Zia and Deshnayak Tarique Rahman. In addition, under the leadership of Hasan Mamun Bhai, a member of the BNP Central Executive Committee, we will perform our duties with honesty and courage for the welfare of the country and the people."
