Bhanga-Barishal 4 -lane road may be approved by ECNEC within 3 months : State Minister for Planning

State Minister for Planning Jonayed Saki said, 'The Bhanga-Barisal four-lane road may be approved by the ECNEC within the next three months. This will bring revolutionary changes in road communication in the southern region including Kuakata. In addition, there is a plan to make the Barisal-Kuakata road four-lane.'
He said this at a meeting with journalists after attending the two-day tourism carnival held in Kuakata, Patuakhali Friday noon.
At the same time, he also said, 'The current government is taking all the activities with a master plan. This will reduce the delay in the project.'
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat MP, Patuakhali-4 constituency MP ABM Mosharraf Hossain, and top officials of Barisal and Patuakhali district administrations were present at the meeting.
